During indexing process, the already published lists will be refreshed which will be resulted by the newly appeared list with the date of the update. Since the documents were in Polish, the lists will be presented according to the Polish alphabet.

Information about the names of those who received the certificate comes from various documents processed by Go!Foretime in the State Archives of Ternopil region. These are passport receipt documents, lists of non-returning emigrants, various applications and certificates issued to emigrants. The main destinations for departure were the United States and Canada, in the 1930s became popular Argentina and Brazil. For temporary work also moved to Germany and France. To get an education young people used to go to Switzerland, Austria and Czechoslovakia as often as elder one to start some treatment. Not only Ukrainians but Poles and Jews were among those who received their passports. Jews often received passports for educational purposes or for travel related to business.

In the interwar period, when Ternopil was a part of the Second Commonwealth, many residents of Ternopil county left their homeland in search of a better life. When processing the documents, we compile a list of those who have received a passport for traveling abroad.
